Diagnoses of genera of South East Asia: Margaromma (?; 5-6). Only one species, M. spatiosum Peckham & Peckham, 1907, from Sarawak is known from our area. There is no recent information. The cephalothorax is high, almost elliptical in elevation, with a flattish area just behind the rear eyes. In plan it is longer than wide with the sides parallel, a wide truncate front and a circular rear. The eye region is black, the rear part dark red and there are white bands around the sides. The abdomen is rounded, almost circular in plan and truncated at the front. It is brown in colour, much lighter than the cephalothorax, and has some red and white hairs. The legs are brown with the front legs darker. The authors were not entirely happy that their specimen belonged to Margaromma,
