Diagnoses of genera of South East Asia: Ligdus (4-5; ?), The single female of L. chelifer Thorell, 1895 was thought by Simon to be close to Copocrossa (p. 311). Distribution: Ligdus is known only from Myanmar. General remarks: Most of these genera are known only from south east Asia. Although there are still no habitat details, genitalia and occasionally other drawings are now available for many of them. In the original descriptions and in Simon's salticid classification, mention is sometimes made of close and more familiar relatives. The latter will be discussed in more detail in due course.
