Emertonius Peckham et Peckham,
1892 = Myrmarachne MacLeay, 1830
Part of Myrmarachne MacLeay, 1830 ??
REMARK. Wanless proposes to include Emertonius exasperans and rufescens into genus Myrmarachne basing on their general resemblance. However, genus Myrmarachne is too large, which makes handling of any species difficult. It may ultimately beneficial to delimite a subgroup of several distinctive species, to which both exasperans and eugenei belong, and the name Emertonius may appear useful for that. J. Proszynski.
