N. B.: usually considered a synonym of Tacuna Peckham et Peckham 1900; revalidated by Galiano 1963b and quoted as such by Brignoli 1983: 648. When type species euchira Simon, 1901 was transferred again to Chirothecia (Simon, 1901) by Galiano 1972b: 25, the name Partona became a synonym of Chirothecia (Simon, 1901), which however does not mean that individual species should follow without revision of each.
