    ETYMOLOGY. Named in memoriam of the late Stanislaw Proszynski, in 1939 student of the Warsaw University of Technology, soldier in defense of besieged Warsaw during September 1939, member of the Polish Resistance, arrested by Nazi Germans, admitted to the Auschwitz Concentation Camp on August 27th, 1941 - inmate Number 18573 SchP ["Sichercheit Pole" = Security, Pole], death registered on November 11th of the same year; uncle of the Author.
