NOTES from Frigga pratensis
male automontage photos – these also from
Nathan Banks Coll, one ticket says “Phiale pratensis (Pk.)” another
says “Granada Nic., Febr.” And another says “Nicaragua;
Granada. CF
Baker (this in handwriting) Nathan Banks Coll.” (this in type) Again,
no date exactly and certainly no year! This vial includes a loose
palps, quite useful. And the male had a small fly, perhaps Drospophila
but looks even smaller, tucked up tight between a curled front leg and
chelicerae. Was dining when captured perhaps.
